Educators facilitate learning with technology to support student achievement of the ISTE Standards for Students.

Much of the curriculum I am developing involves teaching life skills. Technology enables educators to create a wide-array of materials virtually for students. Below is a presentation on budgeting as well as a link to an online lesson plan for anger management - two very important skills that need to be taught in schools and prisons. You may also find a presentation about Mobile Learning and how it is being used for education and training purposes in the business world.

StudyBlue is an online studying platform for high school and college students. The website allows users to upload class study materials, create electronic flashcards to study and share with others, and practice quizzes.

Google Classroom is a free web service, developed by Google for schools, that aims to simplify creating, distributing, and grading assignments in a paperless way. The primary purpose of Google Classroom is to streamline the process of sharing files between teachers and students.

Microsoft Word is a user-friendly word processor developed by Microsoft that allows users to create attractive documents, forms, flyers and publications. The whole Microsoft suite is great for facilitators to use and can make their job much easier. Every educator should have Microsoft Office. Microsoft Example: Kids Say the Darndest Things
